THE DAY I GOT SHOT

I told you I would write about my gunshot scar so that's what I'm doing now. Me and my friend Danielle,I mentioned her in my home schooling blog, were just sitting around on my trampoline We were just talking (being perfect little angels yeah right) lol. All of a sudden she starts yelling at me saying "Donna your knee is bleeding!" I looked down and sure enough my knee had a couple of drops of blood. We went inside my mom was like what happened? We told her we were just sitting there and I started bleeding. So she cleans it up and she notices something in it. She gives me a choice- we either go to the emergency room or she would try to get it out herself. So I walk (more like limp) Danielle home. And we go to the emergency room. The car ride was so BAD! I was terrified. I prayed like the whole way there. When we got to the emergency room my mom ran in all panicky and tells one of the nurses that I was just sitting on the trampoline when suddenly me knee started bleeding. She looked at my mom like she didn't believe her. My mom was mad! So they x - ray me and found a 22 bullet in the tissue of my knee. The doctor said if it would have gone less that an inch farther I would never have walked again. So I hate hospitals for this reason I was covering my eyes and crying when they started taking the bullet out. The nurse tells me "if you don't stop crying you'll get a headache". I'm like getting a bullet cut out of my leg and she tells me not to cry! The doctor was just as bad. Really what kid wants to know that they have been shot and has to get stitches! It turns out that the whole being shot thing was because of a bunch of teenagers playing with guns one of the run away bullets got me. This is like the only scar that is not my fault! This has been an all Kristin story.

MUSIC

Music

Music is a poem in many of ways

The beauty, the rymes, the perfect pleasure.

It gives you joy and brightens all your days

It is the most beautiful of all other treasure.

Music is happy and sad

It is sweet and it is mad!

Love songs with their lively tunes

Kiddy songs with the silly goons.

So money and gold is worth a lot

But my treasure makes it seems like not.

Because where would you be if you had all the money

But had no music? Then your life just wouldn't be sunny.

So you can keep your worldly gifts, have your gold

I have something that will not get old.

Hold onto your riches or it will be gone

And I'll be the victor singing my song.

I have music and that is all I need

To live very long and peacefully!

A STUPID STUNT

SO, This is a story about my IDIOCY! One time about four of five years ago me and my cousin Ricky was really bored so we decided to build a ramp and jump bikes off it. How smart are we? So we go and we get some wood and some cement blocks. We started stacking the wood on the blocks. Soon we were finished and it was time to test it out. After some discussing we decided that Ricky should go first because he is the guy. Ricky rides up the ramp and its a perfect landing, so then I go up. Another perfect landing! This goes on for a while but, of course, all good things must come to an end. I go speeding up the ramp and I slipped and went down hard. The bike landed on me, the chain cut up both my legs, but it was awesome, it was so much fun! I went home, and my mom sees the blood all over my legs and my feet dripping into my shoes. I thought she was going to have a panic attack! I got all cleaned up and I never got on a ramp again. Actually, now I don't even own a bike so I really can't anymore. I had a great time with Ricky and I learned not to ride up a ramp unless you have some pads and a helmet on. Yep, I learned an important lesson and I got an awesome scar! I'm really getting a collection started (someday I'll post about my gunshot scar). This is an all Kristin story!

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A HOME-SCHOOLER

I'm gonna tell you what it is like to be a homescooler. So we all have to get up about eight. We eat get dressed and start our chores. I have to clean the kitchen and the dining room but I refuse to wash dishes because I hate the way they smell. Ashley has to clean the living room she is alot like me with the whole griping thing and Kyle has to clean the bath rooms. We start school at 9:00 am.We have a great schedule but we normally don't stick to it. It was more so we don't end up getting stuck waiting for someone to finish an assignment. So far the schedule is working perfectly we are even able to finish around 2:30 sometimes! We all share math and Spanish, Ricky and I also shares government. It rocks being a home schooler! We get to listen to music while we work, we get sit on the couch and eat pizza while listening to history. I get to hang out with Ricky and Ashley and do work with them and trust me sometimes that can be great. First thing in school is our BIBLE devotion at 9:00. Then Spanish, Language, Group work, Reading, Lunch, Government, Spelling and, Math yuck. I personally probably would not be a good public schooler because I am very shy, so I would be bored out of my mind, plus I have to have music to read. This blog was actually an assignment for my language. So far I'm enjoying it. Home schooling is really great. Lunch is always fun. There isn't the whole terrible cafeteria food I hear so much about, plus we can eat it where ever we want. For Spelling we either go until we get to a certain place or until we get ten words wrong which ever comes first. The book I'm reading now is called THE GOOD MASTER its really good. I read extra in it- it is that great. It is a little below my age but it's assigned for school so I had to read it, now I'm glad. Then there is the dreaded math (this is normally the part were somebody goes duh duh duh nah) I'm kidding! I'm fifteen so I do hate math though! It is the source of all evilness (just ask my friend Danielle). Math is math. It is boring! It is hard. It is the same as in a normal school, I guess. It is math. The rest is pretty cool! My teacher (mom) said people was wandering what it is like to be a home schooler. So far I have no complaints well- maybe a few! So that is what home schooling is like from a homeschoolers point of view. This is an all Kristin story!

ME AND MY FAMILY

My name is Donna Kristin. I was named after my nanny so on all my computer accounts I use my middle name to my family I'm simply Donna. Anyway, I was born in Texas and I am fifteen, almost sixteen years old. I have three little sisters Ashley, who is twelve. Lacey, who is four and Lily who is almost two. I have a little brother named Kyle, who is eight and one older sister Shelby, who died in 2002 by a fire. She was ten when she died. My dad is the pastor of a Pentecostol church and my mom stays at home mom and home schools all of us. She also teaches my cousins Ricky who is my age and Noah who is Kyles age. We are a very close family. My Nanny, and Pap live right next door. My Aunt Becca lives a couple of blocks away. My great grandma lives about half a mile away, my uncle lives a few miles away. My great Aunt is a farmer and owns a big piece of land. She lives a couple miles away. We all go to the church where my dad preaches! We have three pets my cat, my moms dog, and my dads bird. Nobody really likes the dog anymore because she is way to hyper. Some of us don't really like the bird either because it chirps all the time, and some people don't like my cat because she is so mean because she was recently fixed. Anyway now you have some information about me and my family! This is an all Kristin story!
